Co-directors Thomas and Harris along with Dr. Grant Drawve (Sociology and Criminology) and Jyotishka Datta (Mathematical Sciences) established data sharing and research collaborations with Little Rock Police Department (LRPD), Springdale Police Department (SPD), and Arkansas Community Corrections (ACC). Designed to fulfill the land grant mission of the university and engage stakeholders outside of campus, the CSR affiliate members envision using these partnerships to adjoin their recent work on geo-spatial and temporal analyses of crime and social problems with agency needs and concerns about impact. Several of these collaborations include training and research seminars and have already produced multiple national conference symposium for the fall of 2018.
